The C-Therm Tx measures the “warm feel” and “cool touch” of textile and clothing materials. The patented Modified Transient Plane Source (MTPS) technique is used for this. The unilateral heat sensor applies an instantaneous constant heat source to the sample. The thermal conductivity and effusivity are measured directly, providing a detailed overview of the thermal properties of the sample.
